The Kinloch Club is an 18 hole Championship, Par 72 golf course.
The grasses on the golf course:
- Greens = bent grass
- Tees = Princeville creeping bent grass
- Fairways and rough = Fescues
The 18 holes at The Kinloch Club are unique in that they are sculptured from the natural pumice based landscape, created from centuries of volcanic activity. The natural elevations include some incredible views of Lake Taupo throughout the course, in particular the 10th tee and many parts of the inward nine.
Jack Nicklaus visited Kinloch on numerous occasions during the construction of the course and he played the entire 18 holes for the first time in February 2008 after the grow-in stage of holes 10 to 18 had been completed. He was extremely happy with how the course was presented and was looking forward to returing in years to come to see how Kinloch matured.
The Kinloch Club is open to the public by enquiring through our booking form or by calling us on +64-7-377-8484.
